The Kingdom of God is a central theme in the Bible. It is the place where God's will is done and where his people will live in perfect harmony with him and with each other. Walking out God's Kingdom on earth is about living our lives in a way that is consistent with God's will and values. It is about creating a atmosphere where everyone is loved, respected, and each can have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
However, walking out God's Kingdom on earth is not always easy. It requires us to be willing to sacrifice our own comfort and convenience, and also to stand up for what is right, even when it is difficult. There will be times when we are faced with challenges and temptations. But when we stay focused on God and his will, we will be able to overcome any obstacle.
Is This Worthwhile? It sounds like a lot of effort; you may be thinking. It is!
It is very worthwhile. It is a journey we must all take to create a world that is more like the Kingdom of God. It creates a place where everyone is welcome, regardless of their background or beliefs.
It is also a place where we and hopefully those who enter in - to submit to God and allow Him to remove every thought, belief, and behavior that separates us from Him, His will and purpose for our lives. He loves the world and everyone in it, but that does not mean that everyone in the world will accept this truth as truth. Jesus taught about the Kingdom of God in many of his parables. In the parable of the mustard seed, he compared the Kingdom of God to a tiny seed that grows into a large tree. This teaches us that the Kingdom of God may start small, but it will eventually grow and spread throughout the world.
In the parable of the wheat and the (tares) weeds, Jesus compared the Kingdom of God to a field of wheat that is contaminated with weeds. This teaches us that the Kingdom of God is not perfect, and that there will always be evil in the world.
He also said that it is like a treasure hidden in a field, which a man finds and sells everything he had to buy the field. However, Jesus assures us that in the end, the good will be separated from the bad, and the Kingdom of God will be fully established.
Jesus also taught that the Kingdom of God is within us. This means that we can experience the Kingdom of God here and now, in our own lives.
The Kingdom of God is a gift from Him, where we can be reconciled to Him and to each other. When we love God and love our neighbors, we are participating in the Kingdom of God. We should always live this Kingdom realm in our hearts and minds, even though it is not yet fully realized on earth. Jesus also said that the Kingdom of God is within us.
This means that we can experience the Kingdom of God!
When we live in the Kingdom of God, we are forgiven of ALL our sins, and we have a new relationship with God. We are also to be members of a community of believers who love and support each other as well.
The Kingdom of God is not just a place; it is a way of life. It is a life that is centered on God and his will. It is a life that is characterized by love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
Here are some ways to walk out God's Kingdom on earth:
Love God and love your neighbor. This is the greatest commandment, and it is the foundation of everything else. When we love God and love our neighbors, we are creating a world that is more like the Kingdom of God.
Forgive others and seek forgiveness yourself. Forgiveness is essential to the Kingdom of God. When we forgive others, we are breaking the cycle of hatred and revenge. And when we seek forgiveness from God and others, we are opening ourselves up to healing and reconciliation.
Pray for the Kingdom of God to come. Prayer is a powerful way to connect with God and to ask for His help in bringing about His Kingdom on earth.
As Christians, we are called to live our lives in a way that reflects the Kingdom of God. We are called to be witnesses to the love of God and to share the good news of the Kingdom with others, as you walk out this morning remember please this one thing.
You are entering the harvest field of God! Be a light, an example of God's Kingdom!
